BAO x friends
to celebrate lunar new year, we were invited to bring one of Erchen Chang's illustrations to life at the BAO x friends kiosk, dover street market, london.
the 3 week pop up celebrates the year of the dragon through its various collaborations with some of their favourite designers, including pieces designed with Simone Rocha, SHUSHUTONG, Carhartt and DEATHMASK.
the design sees the iconic lonely man all tired out from the lunar new year festivities, resting on his full belly exposing his bare bum and magnificent dragon back piece.
this piece is the second in our relationship with BAO. The first being a fluffy salted egg custard BAO to celebrate last years lunar new year and the launch of their BAOverse app.
